About Us - Our Beliefs


The family of faith at First Baptist Church Kyle is a part of a God centered, Christ honoring, Bible believing, Spirit led community of believers called Southern Baptists. First Baptist Church Kyle has affiliations with several associations and conventions at the local and state level.

Bluebonnet Baptist Association

The Bluebonnet Baptist Association is a cooperative group of churches in the Austin/San Antonio area. Their mission is to assist churches in carrying out their Great Commission responsibilities. Staff, resources, and activities are focused on assisting churches and helping them reach their full potential in Christ.

Southern Baptists of Texas Convention (SBTC)

The Southern Baptists of Texas Convention exists to facilitate, extend, and enlarge the Great Commission ministries of the Southern Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist churches and associations of Texas, upon the authority of God's inerrant Word to the glory of God the Father, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

Baptist General Convention of Texas (BGCT)

The mission of the Baptist General Convention of Texas is to encourage, facilitate, and connect churches in their work to fulfill God's mission of reconciling the world to himself.
