About The Community

Kyle is one of the fastest growing cities in the State of Texas. It is located along I-35 south about 21 miles south of Austin and about 8 miles north of San Marcos. It is home to approximately 45,000 people with more people moving to the area each day. There are 3 high schools in the area along with many elementary and middle schools. Kyle is also home to one of Austin Community College’s campuses.

About The Church

The church has been in existence since 1880. It has changed over the years and expanded to include a worship center and an education building. Weekly attendance hovers around 100 people. Pre-covid, attendance ranged from about 200-250. Our church went through a difficult time in 2021 as our pastor of 15 years lost his battle with cancer. The interim pastor has done a great job to refocus the church. We have a good mixture of age groups in attendance, and we typically have good engagement with the community when we host church outreach programs.

Our church also has a growing and thriving Children’s ministry that includes a Mother’s Day Out program, VBS, and Awana.
